School of Enlightenment aims at providing the best facilities possible for our students in the field of sports. The school has sports activities every morning for about 50 minutes. The middle and senior student has sports activities on Monday, Wednesday and Friday while the junior student has sports activities on Tuesday and Thursday.

Students can opt to be trained in basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, football, taekwando, throwball, chess during the morning activities. Kho-kho and handball are being introduced this year. We have professional and experienced coaches to train the students. Enlightenment gives a lot of importance to improving the fitness level of students. Every morning students are engaged in a mass drill conducted by our PET teachers. Students do exercises to tone and strengthen their muscles. In these sessions students learn self-defense techniques which not only help them to defend themselves but also give them the confidence to handle difficult situations.

Practicing in the morning sun’s blazing heat, Enlightenment’s basketball team has worked hard towards victory and glory. The team is divided into 3 categories: Sub Junior, Junior and Senior. Participating in various National, State and Zonal Level tournaments.

The school team has made Enlightenment beam with pride as their unvarying determination and hard work has been paying off. The Senior, Junior and the Sub Junior teams routinely practice in the early summer mornings, by incorporating both work and fun, and showing will power to work.

Members of the Athletics team of Enlightenment have set a great example for their fellow students by achieving great heights, participating in track races and field sports at the National, State and Zonal Level. Athletics has helped the team to increase their stamina and to develop the physique of the team members.

Chess is a two player strategy board game played on a chessboard and helps in brain development. Often securing first prizes, the Senior, the Junior and the Sub Junior teams have helped contribute to Enlightenment’s grandeur.

Table Tennis, usually a casual game played between either two or four players, has now been taken to a competitive level. The team frequently stays back after school-hours to enhance and improve their techniques, to become better players with the help of their coaches.

Throwball is an integral part of Enlightenment. The school team has won the most number of awards in the Zonal Level and has played for various Inter-School tournaments, accomplishing their goals to be one of the best.
